I awake and say….
Today is a Second Chance.
A chance to live for Him…
Not the world.
A chance to shut down technology and delve into The Word.
A chance to say, I am sorry.
Start new.
A chance to embrace others in all I do.
A chance to laugh more…
Hug more.
Smile more.
Share more.
A chance to draw near the one’s around me….
instead of hiding..
In a book,
A computer,
Or my own…
Important agendas.
A chance to Love.
Really love.
Reach.
Teach….
Not in lecture…
But stories. Experiences.
Parables to my kids.
Sharing memories.
The beatitudes of Christ.
Grace.
Testify of His goodness.
Witness…Wherever. However He leads.
A chance to trust, I can follow.
Safely.
Blindly.
Behind my Creator.
A chance to open clasped hands slowly.
Give.
Receive.
Live openly.
Carefree.
Worship.
Knowing….
His mercies are new every morning.

This is so true. How often we take those second chances for granted! But what an immeasurable gift they are. And when we wake up tomorrow, we have another fresh chance.
So many lovely chances . . . when we have our eyes open.
