A Big & Overwhelming, “Thank You”!

Humbled beyond measure to receive this blog award from Tracy over at Daily walk in His grace.

Thank you, Tracy!

Tracy has the gift of expanding and expounding scripture.  She presents God’s Word in a way that is relevant, real, and personal to our daily lives.

The following makes me think of Tracy…

“It is not enough to get scripture into our head and our hearts. We must be moved to obey and live out what scripture says.”

I always go away from Tracy’s blog with nuggets of truth that ruminate in my heart long after reading. Thanks again, Tracy.

So here it goes.

According to the directions, I am to share 7 things about myself. Then I pass the award on to a blogger friend who in turn, will link back to me and follow the instructions again.
  1. I am a picked up piece of grace. Have known the darkest nights as well as the brightest days.
  2. I long to sing praise.  On good days…but am also challenged when nights close in. That is my aim.
  3. I fall continually from grace. Whenever “I” rise up….God mercifully & continually puts me in my place.
  4. I am a dreamer. Have had dreams almost nightly since the day I can remember.
  5. I am a highlighter. In college. At home. My books & Bible look like a college thesis paper.
  6. I am a thrill seeker.  Love to travel. Adventure.  Explore. Challenge myself like never before.
  7. I like poetry.  Yes, it’s no secret. Yet, I have hid it my entire life…thinking it was weird or shameful.

Now, I would like to present this award to……  (drum role, please)

Michelle, over at Snowberry Farm
Reasons why I chose Michelle:
  • She is a dedicated foster parent and an adoptive parent to a little girl from China. She lives the gospel.
  • She has so beautifully captured God’s heart for the orphan.
  • Michelle’s life is evident of someone who unceasingly seeks the Lord.
  • Michelle lives as a daily sacrifice, moment by moment, by caring for God’s children, the fatherless and the orphan.

Congratulations Michelle!

Blessings,

  1. “It is not enough to get scripture into our head and our hearts. We must be moved to obey and live out what scripture says.” And, most importantly, we must be CHANGED. Transformed by it.
Stopping by to let you know I joined your site and am now following on Twitter. I’ve homeschooled my children since ’83 (yes I’m a dinosaur).
Hope you’ll pay me a visit too.
